On June 16, 2026, CNIPA and the Ministry of Commerce of Myanmar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the field of intellectual property in Beijing.

Under the MoU, China and Myanmar will strengthen exchanges and cooperation in the field of intellectual property, and jointly promote the development of bilateral economic, technological, cultural, and people-to-people ties.
